Video Visits: Troubleshooting
Desktop Download
- Download the Zoom Client for Meetings for your desktop (clicking this link will begin the download).
Mobile Download
- Download the iPhone Zoom Cloud Meetings app from the App store
- Download the Android Zoom Cloud Meetings app from the Google Play store
>> Scroll all the way to the Zoom app:
>> Ensure the microphone is enabled:
- Your sound might not be enabled – the app should give you a pop up requesting permission to allow access to microphone. If you see that, click “Yes” or “Allow.”
- If you missed that pop up or accidentally clicked “No” or “Don’t Allow,” you will need to go to your phone settings:
>> Scroll all the way to the Zoom app:
>> Ensure the camera is enabled:
- Your camera might not be enabled – the app should give you a pop-up requesting permission to allow access to microphone. If you see that, click “Yes” or “Allow.”
- If you missed that pop-up or accidentally clicked “No” or “Don’t Allow,” you will need to go to your phone settings:
- If you start the visit with headphones on and you disconnect them (or if Airpods are removed from your ears), the call is automatically muted
- To unmute, tap the screen and you will see a microphone on the bottom left. Click the microphone to unmute:
