### Fees

  LABS is set up as an institutional core, and as such is intended to be cost-neutral to the hospital. Service and sample fees are carefully calculated and fully backed-up by highly detailed line item budgets of clinical, laboratory, and project management costs. That is to say to the degree possible, they reflect the *exact* costs we incur to provide each sample and service.

Please note if your study requires collaboration with the BMC [Clinical Data Warehouse (CDW)](/research/clinical-data-warehouse-cdw), they will apply and invoice for their own fee schedule as applicable.
