## Ingredients

 Oats - ¼ cup OR ¼ cup bread crumbs Egg - 1 Ground\_turkey - 1 lb (93% fat free), or ground beef, ground chicken, or ground meat alternative (such as Beyond Meat)  Italian\_seasoning - 2 teaspoons  Salt - ½ teaspoon Marinara\_sauce - 1 jar  Parmesan\_cheese - ¼ cup optional 

## Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 

Step 2

To make the meatballs, put ¼ cup of oats (if using) into a blender and blend to a flour like consistency. Add to a large mixing bowl. 

Step 3

Crack an egg by tapping the egg on a flat surface and pulling the shell apart with your thumbs, letting the egg fall into the bowl.

Step 4

Add 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning and ½ teaspoon of salt to the bowl. Add the ground turkey to the bowl and mix with your hands by pinching the ingredients into the ground turkey. Wash your hands.

Step 5

Grease a large baking sheet. 

Step 6

Using a Tablespoon, scoop out 15 heaping tablespoons of the turkey mixture directly onto the baking sheet pan and mold into meatballs. Bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through. 

Step 7

Serve as a dipper with a side of marinara sauce and cheese or over pasta
