Avoid a Long Wait Time in the Emergency Room

Your primary care doctor's office has sick and urgent care appointments every day and offers evening appointments most nights.

If you are ill and need medical attention but do not have a life threatening emergency, it's best to avoid a visit to the Emergency Room. Please call your primary care doctor's office for the following kinds of minor illnesses and injuries.

  • Allergic reactions (minor)
  • Animal or insect bite
  • Back, knee or joint pain
  • Cold and cough
  • Earache
  • Eye infection or irritation
  • Fever
  • GYN issues/pregnancy test
  • Medication refills
  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea
  • Rash or other skin conditions
  • Same day STD testing and treatment
  • Sore throat
  • Urinary tract infections
  • Work notes
