## Being a TEAM Participant

Every participant in TEAM has an important role to play. Some expectations of TEAM participants are that everyone will:

- Stay with and interact with their TEAM group
- Participate in the activities
- Follow the TEAM Goals and Expectations
- Start and/or participate in conversations with group members
- Be open to new activities and new people
- Have fun!

In addition, mentors have a particular responsibility to set a good example for mentees and other group members by:

- Modeling appropriate language
- Helping others (especially mentees) when they’re having a problem
- Encouraging everyone to follow the TEAM Goals &amp; Expectations
- Working with other mentors and facilitators to make sure all group members are having fun
