No, it is free of charge. You will be asked for your insurance information but that is only to facilitate registering you for the clinic.

No, you don’t need to have a physician or receive any other services at BMC to be eligible.

Yes, you need a referral from your primary or specialist.

### Where does it happen?

At Boston Medical Center, in the outpatient clinic. You will be given information on how to locate the clinic once you are registered.

### Is it group acupuncture?

The first appointment is an individual consult. The follow-ups are groups.

### How many treatments can I have?

There is no limit to the number of treatments you can receive.

### What are the clinic hours?

Currently, visits are Mondays 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Fridays 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

You first appointment will take place within 2 weeks.

Experienced licensed acupuncturists provide the acupuncture.

Yes, BMC also offers massage, and yoga, qigong, tai chi, cooking, and nutrition classes.
