The multidisciplinary Lupus Clinic provides expert diagnosis and the latest treatments for patients with lupus. Our program is a true partnership between the Departments of Kidney Medicine, Rheumatology, and Dermatology, allowing patients to see multiple specialists together at one appointment or back-to-back on the same day for a convenient and comprehensive care experience. We also provide our patients mental health support with the help of our licensed psychologist. Together, we offer a holistic approach, addressing not only your physical symptoms, but your ongoing mental health and other needs as well.

  ## Lupus Clinical Trials and Research

Our physician scientists are dedicated to investigating the causes of lupus and other autoimmune diseases. With donated samples from our patients, we conduct basic scientific research to better understand how lupus develops and identify new treatments. If you are interested in enrolling in our Autoimmune Disease Registry and Repository or participating in one of our research studies, contact our research coordinator at 617.638.5965.

We also conduct clinical research by collaborating with pharmaceutical companies to develop advanced therapies for lupus and other autoimmune diseases. Speak to your BMC provider about enrolling in a clinical trial to receive one of these innovative new treatments.
