Before starting the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Program, you’ll meet with a pulmonologist and respiratory therapist. Over 12 weeks, you’ll attend 24 two-hour sessions that combine supervised exercise and education. Throughout the program, the care team monitors your progress, supports healthy habits to ease shortness of breath, and equips you with personalized tools to maintain and build on your progress after rehab.

### Education Sessions

In addition to our regular treatment, we offer education sessions that cover the anatomy and function of the heart and lungs, what can affect your breathing, and how to care for yourself to improve lung function. This includes managing conditions like COPD and asthma, using medications and oxygen therapy, practicing breathing exercises, improving nutrition, reducing stress, and staying active with yoga and pulmonary rehab.

### Exercise

Each patient follows a personalized exercise plan tailored to their fitness level and needs. As you move through the program, you’ll build cardiopulmonary endurance, strength, flexibility, and stamina — helping to reduce hospital visits and make everyday activities easier and more manageable.

### Supporting Patients

Living with lung disease is both physically and emotionally difficult. That’s why we offer education sessions focused on managing stress and anxiety, giving you practical tools to help you feel more in control of your day-to-day life. We offer a state-of-the-art smoking cessation program to all patients.
