Please note admission to Project Evolve is contingent on clinical appropriateness and approval by Suffolk County Sherriff's Department’s classification and leadership teams. ## Eligibility Criteria Our program is open to pre-trial male detainees. There are no exclusions based on charges, but clients must want to work on their behavioral health, such as trauma, addiction, or mental illness. ## Expectations We expect that everyone who is part of our program will: - Participate in intake and treatment planning - Participate in mandatory STAIR (Skills Training in Affective and Interpersonal Regulation) - Attend 12 groups per week - Participate in the daily morning community meeting - Engage positively in community - Avoid disrespectful behavior or violence - Support the goal of a substance-free environment - Engage appropriately with the therapy dog - Participate within an accountability framework to address harms/concerns
