### After-Hours and Weekends

- Urgent Medical Emergencies: If your child experiences an acute, life-threatening emergency (such as severe worsening head pain, repeated vomiting, seizure, confusion, or loss of consciousness), do not wait for the clinic—call 9-1-1 immediately or go to the nearest hospital emergency department.
- After-Hours Support: For urgent, non-emergency clinical concerns outside of regular business hours, families should contact the Boston Medical Center main operator or switchboard at [617.414.5000](tel:617.414.5000) and ask to reach the pediatric neurology resident or attending physician on call.
