## Special Services

### Multilingual Support

Communication is key to our practice, and our multilingual staff can effectively interact with patients and their families in diverse linguistics. We are delighted to arrange interpreter services to facilitate clear and thorough communication.

### Nitrous Oxide Sedation (Laughing Gas)

While most procedures are carried out within our dental clinic, we accommodate children who may experience anxiety with the option of nitrous oxide/O2 sedation, commonly known as laughing gas sedation.

### General Anesthesia

For those with special needs or very young children who may find it challenging to undergo treatment in a traditional dental chair, we offer the convenience of performing procedures in the operating room under general anesthesia, ensuring comprehensive care while the child rests comfortably.

## Statement on Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride is a safe and effective way to prevent dental caries (cavities) in children.

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) recognizes that drinking fluoridated water and brushing with fluoridated toothpaste twice daily are the most effective ways to reduce dental caries prevalence in children. Numerous clinical trials have confirmed the anti-caries effect of professional topical fluoride treatments. Professional fluoride products, applied by a licensed dental or medical provider, offer additional benefits.

The frequency of professional fluoride application is determined based on your child’s caries risk.
