Orofacial pain can be difficult to diagnose and is often frustrating for patients. Our goal is to find the source of your pain and create a personalized treatment plan that fits your individual needs.

When you first visit the Orofacial Pain Program at BMC, we will perform a thorough physical examination and spend time asking about your past medical history and current symptoms. We may also run additional tests, if needed, such as a panoramic x-rays or other advanced imaging tests.

Our team provides the most up-to-date evidence-based treatments and management strategies for complex orofacial pain problems, which include:

- Pharmacotherapy
- Customized oral appliance therapy
- Trigger point and Botox injections
- Home exercises
- Physical therapy (PT)
- Cognitive behavioral therapy
