# Treatments and Services

 Explore MidwivesMidwives at BMC:

- Care for you during pregnancy, labor, birth, and after the baby is born
- Offer prenatal care individually or through our group model [Centering Pregnancy](/node/118476)
- Support education through our Pregnancy Resource Center, [Centering Pregnancy](/node/118476), and childbirth education
- Identify complications and refer to specialists as needed
- Honor each patient’s values and birth plans
- Uphold unmedicated labor and birth
- Respect and facilitate medicated labor and birth (about half of our patients choose an epidural)
- Work closely with obstetricians, family medicine doctors, and maternal-fetal medicine doctors
- Connect patients with additional support like childbirth classes, doulas ([Birth Sisters](/node/3511)), behavioral health, social work, and Curbside Care
