The Outpatient Parenteral Antimicrobial Therapy (COpAT) Program at BMC cares for patients who are receiving IV or oral antibiotics for severe infections. Infectious disease specialists and staff support patients on these high-risk medications to ensure that they recover safely. All patients in COpAT must be referred by their BMC infectious diseases provider.
