[Back to Overview](/departments/emergency-medicine) ## Emergency Medicine # The Clinical Training Center at BMC The Clinical Training Center at Boston Medical Center (BMC), located administratively within the Department of Emergency Medicine, is an [American Heart Association (AHA)–Authorized Training Center](https://atlas.heart.org/) that provides the highest quality resuscitation education programs and support to the faculty and staff of BMC, [BMC Brighton](https://www.bmchealthsystem.org/bmc-brighton), and [BMC South](https://www.bmchealthsystem.org/bmc-south), as well as to healthcare providers from outside facilities and the community. All of our training programs are offered in a blended format: an online educational portion and completion of an exam, followed by a hands-on skills session. ## What We Offer Please use the links below to learn more about what we offer and register for a course. BMC Health System pays for its employees to take the certification classes that are required by their position or job. If you are a BMCHS employee, you will need to enter your BMCHS ID number when registering. ### Outside Students and Travel Nurses We welcome all outside learners to attend our classes at BMC. When you register, please ensure that you select the “Non–BMC Employee” link. Your credit card will be charged for the cost of the class when you register. All skills sessions for outside learners are held at the BMC Boston campus, located in the South End neighborhood of Boston.
