Jacob Kriegel, MD

Jacob Kriegel, MD, is a cardiothoracic surgeon at Boston Medical Center (BMC). His clinical and research interests include the management and outcomes of patients with endocarditis and interatrial shunting. After receiving his medical degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Kriegel went on to complete an integrated six-year cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. In addition, Dr. Kriegel has a longstanding interest in medical device development and spent a year as a biodesign fellow at the Texas Medical Center Innovation Institute.
