NEW: Pediatric Treatment Algorithm
A new treatment protocol for pediatric patients with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 has been approved and is available on the Emergency Management page of the Hub.
NEW: BMC Donation Requests
We greatly appreciate the outpouring of support we have received from staff and friends of BMC have asked how they can help and what supplies are needed most at the hospital. Our most critical needs are:
- N95 respirators
- Surgical masks
- Full face shields/disposable face shields
- Disposable Gowns
- Cloth Masks
- Fluid resistant Gowns
- Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) Disposable and Replacement Parts
- Head Covers/Caps
- Disposable stethoscopes
- Wipes (with bleach)
- Any type of sanitizer with alcohol
All deliveries should go to 750 Albany Street, Boston Medical Center between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. We are also able to accommodate other delivery times as long as we have notice. Please contact Victor Ruiz at 781-709-7435 with any questions or to arrange a delivery. Thank you!
NEW: Support for Patients – Resource Guide and THRIVE Directory
During this time, we know that many of our patients and their families are experiencing financial crises which will further impact their health. Our COVID-19 Resource Guide contains information about changes at the federal, state and city level that were implemented to protect vulnerable populations during this emergency, as well as information about community organizations and programs that are providing support to those most impacted by this situation.
Patients can also use our new THRIVE Directory - MASSTHRIVE.ORG, which is a web-based resource directory that can be used to quickly find and contact resources in their neighborhood.
