A tremendous amount of work has been done by teams across the hospital to return some of our clinics, which were moved to make space for COVID patients, back to their permanent locations and adapt our spaces to ensure the safety of patients and staff as we start to welcome patients back for in-person clinic visits and provide care for those who have had to delay procedures. THANK YOU to everyone for their incredible collaboration, innovation, and flexibility to make this happen!

NEW: Restricting Card Access to BUMC Buildings

Please note that everyone entering Boston University Medical Campus buildings must have proper masks and follow the occupancy restrictions approved for BUMC buildings.

To ensure this, the only entrance to the Instructional (L) building complex will be through the L building lobby (main entrance from Talbot green). All other buildings in the complex should be accessed through this lobby.

All other entrances, including the access on Evans Way near the Department of Medicine, both street level entrances to the K building, and access to the Housman Research (R) building, including the Harrison Avenue card access entrance, will be closed. The CABR (W) building at 700 Albany St. loading dock pedestrian entrances will be restricted to authorized personnel.

UPDATED: Working Well Clinic

We have continued to see a sharp decrease in calls to the employee COVID response line. Therefore, as of Wednesday, May 27, the employee COVID-19 call line (option 1 at 617-638-8400) has been discontinued. All inquiries regarding COVID19, including reporting symptoms, exposures, high risk reporting, test results, and requests for testing, should be directed to the COVID19 employee e-mail triage service: [email protected]. Providers are monitoring this inbox seven days a week and will return your inquiry within 24 hours.

All non-COVID19 related inquiries, such as workplace injuries, exposures, needle sticks, pre-placement health clearance and compliance questions should call the Working Well Clinic main line: 617-638-8400 or e-mail the clinic: [email protected].
