UPDATE: ICU Capacity

Today our ICU resources were stretched beyond current capacity. In concert with four collaborative Academic Medical Centers across town, we were able to transfer a number of stable ICU patients. EMS understands our current ICU constraints, and we will revisit with them early tomorrow morning. In addition, we are actively expanding our ICU capacity beyond our current state to manage the anticipated surge over the next days to weeks.

NEW: Epic Streamlined Documentation

Effective Monday, April 6, we will be going live with streamlined nursing documentation in Epic. This is an Epic tool created for use during Natural Disaster, Mass Casualty, or Pandemic Crisis. The required documentation is decreased to only the most essential items. This Disaster Admission Navigator is limited to adult medical surgical and ICU ClinDoc.
