NEW: Tips for Using Zoom Safely Amid Hacker Threats

With many employees working remotely, we have a number of new Zoom Conference users. There have been complaints nationally about “Zoom bombing,” where a hacker guesses a zoom link and takes over a meeting. Please configure the following whenever possible to avoid interruptions:

  • Make meetings private. There are two options to make a meeting private: require a meeting password or use the waiting room feature and control the admittance of guests
  • Change screen sharing to “Host Only.”
