The Urolift™ System uses a specialized stapling device to lift and hold enlarged prostate tissue out of the way so that it no longer blocks the urethra. The urologist inserts a cystoscope through the urethra to determine the precise area(s) of prostate tissue to be pulled back. Then a small needle is inserted through the sheath to stitch the tissues.
