Neovaginoplasty and genital remodeling are gender-affirming “bottom” surgeries. In neovaginoplasty, surgeons create a vagina from existing genital tissue using a penile inversion technique. In genital remodeling, also known as minimal depth neovaginoplasty, surgeons create natural-appearing external female genitalia without creating a vaginal cavity.
