Your baby is the size of a lemon!

Their skin is getting thicker, and soft hair is starting to grow. Your baby can bring their fingers to their mouth and turn their head. Tiny fingerprints are starting to appear.

Their organs and muscles are beginning to work and their genitals are formed.

## Weekly Affirmation

### Every day brings growth.

Have you heard of [CenteringPregnancy](/departments/obstetrics-and-gynecology/obstetrics/patient-resources/centering-pregnancy "Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology: Division of Obstetrics: CenteringPregnancy | Boston Medical Center (bmc.org)")? In Centering, you meet with a midwife and a group of others who are due around the same time as you. You can learn together, share stories, and talk about pregnancy, birth, and parenting.

People in Centering care are more likely to breastfeed, less likely to give birth early, and say they feel more satisfied with their care.
