Rilka Stefanov, MSW LICSW, is an experienced Clinical Social Worker at Boston Medical Center with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital and healthcare industry. She has lectured on topics such as the impact of environmental racism on mental health among adolescents. Before coming to Boston Medical Center, she completed her Masters Degree in Social work at the University of New Hampshire and has served as an outreach therapist for Seacoast Mental Health Center; as a clinician at Easter Seals STARR program, as an in-home therapy clinician for Lahey Health Behavioral services; as the Director of Social Services for Golden Living; as a clinical social worker for Brigham and Women's Hospital, and as the PACT team lead for Eliot Community Human Services. Rilka’ s professional strengths include peer endorsed skills in social services, community outreach, psychotherapy, family therapy, program development, CBT/DBT, adolescents development/health; motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, group therapy, working with persons struggling with posttraumatic stress; narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy.
