Thank you for visiting, and taking a moment to learn about our Clinical Trial programs!

A clinical trial typically involves a clinical intervention to determine the effect of a new drug or device.

The NIH Clinical Trial Definition is: ‘A research study in which one or more human subjects are prospectively assigned to one or more interventions (which may include placebo or other control) to evaluate the effects of those interventions on health-related biomedical or behavioral outcomes.’

Clinical trials play an important role in assessing new treatments and techniques for many types of health conditions.  Participating in a clinical trial is a valuable way to contribute to the advancement of these treatments.  Information about participating in a clinical trial is located on the NIH web site.
