Daniel Roh, MD, PhD, specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery. He received his MD and PhD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Medical Scientist Training Program and went on to complete the Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Training Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Roh’s clinical practice spans both reconstructive surgery for trauma or cancer patients and cosmetic surgery, including face and neck lifts, liposuction, and breast surgery. Dr. Roh also performs chest reconstruction surgery for transgender men and nonbinary individuals and breast augmentation for transgender women. His research is focused on senescence, a process by which cells in the body stop dividing but do not die. He is examining the role of senescence in wound healing and scarring, with support from the NIH and private foundations.
