Attending surgeons from Boston Children’s Hospital and a dedicated pediatric anesthesiologist are on-call 24/7 at BMC, treating patients from infancy through adolescence who require surgical intervention for routine or complex medical issues.

Located in the state-of-the-art Shapiro Center, our team of exceptional doctors, nurses, child life specialists, and other cross-departmental staff collaborate to ensure that care is provided in a family friendly and caring environment.

The Pediatric Surgery Team provides the following services:

- Circumcision (up to age 18)

Overnight Stay
- Enteral access (G tubes, GJ tubes)
- Fundoplication
- Gallbladder disease
- Vascular access
- Urology (non-reconstructive: hypospadias repair)

24 Hour Consultation for:
- Pediatric trauma
