Umit Tapan, MD, is a thoracic oncologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of Medicine at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Tapan specializes in non-small cell lung cancer, small cell lung cancer, mesothelioma, immunotherapy, targeted therapy/precision medicine. His research interests center on reducing disparities in lung cancer treatment, improving access to new treatments ...  such as immunotherapy and targeted treatment.
