Patricia L. Hibberd, MD, PhD, is a board-certified infectious disease consultant and epidemiologist affiliated with Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a professor of medicine in infectious diseases at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She is also chair and professor of global health at Boston University School of Public Health. Previously, Dr. Hibberd was a professor of global ...  health at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, a professor of pediatrics at Harvard Medical School, and director of the division of global health in the pediatrics department at Massachusetts General Hospital. She leads a clinical and translational research program focusing on the prevention and treatment of childhood pneumonia, neonatal sepsis, and diarrhea. Dr. Hibberd is passionate about mentorship and works with undergraduate, public health, and medical students, residents, fellows, and junior faculty.
