## About

Natalie Pierre-Joseph, MD, MPH, is a board-certified pediatrician working in the Adolescent Center at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and a Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Pierre-Joseph has devoted her immense knowledge, training, and personal experiences as a Haitian Creole bilingual faculty member to develop and champion multigenerational ...  and dyadic strategies for both population-based prevention and patient-centered medical care. At BMC, she is a former Medical Director of the Adolescent Center’s Teen and Tot Clinic and is an expert in the area of adolescent parenting.

Dr. Pierre-Joseph also has clinical and research expertise in primary and secondary HPV-related cancer prevention, especially cervical cancer prevention. Her research focuses on HPV vaccine initiation among low-income and minority population in public healthcare settings. Her work addressing racial/ethnic disparities in HPV vaccination rates in adolescents, and in cervical cancer screenings in adult women, has made her a world leader in cancer prevention among minority communities.
