## About

Meredith R. Halpin, MD, is a board-certified medical oncologist and geriatrician at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Assistant Professor of Medicine (Hematology & Medical Oncology) at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

Dr. Halpin has a clinical focus in genitourinary cancers, and cares for adult patients with cancer of the prostate, kidney, bladder, testicles, and penis as ...  well as other solid cancers. She is also involved in clinical research and clinical trials for genitourinary cancers.

In addition to internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology, Dr. Halpin is board-certified in geriatrics, and she has a clinical and research interest in the care of older adults with cancer. Her interests include the use of geriatric assessment–driven decisionmaking and interventions to optimize and individualize the care of older adults with cancer.

Dr. Halpin is an educator at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine and the BMC Hematology and Oncology and Geriatric Oncology Fellowship programs.
