Dr. Megan Janeway is a surgeon in the Section of Acute Care and Trauma Surgery/Surgical Critical Care at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine. After receiving her medical degree from the Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine, she completed general surgery residency at BMC, followed by a fellowship ...  in surgical critical care in the Department of Surgery at the University of Michigan. During medical school, Dr. Janeway inspired the formation of the Socially Responsible Surgery (SRS) group, which she cofounded with Acute Care and Trauma Surgery Chief Tracey Dechert, MD. Now a national organization, SRS has chapters across the country.
