Begun during a T32-funded pediatric health services research fellowship, his primary research utilizes cohort studies and mixed methods to understand retention in the pediatric tuberculosis infection care cascade. Additional TB-related projects include applying geospatial analysis to examine the social ecology of TB disease and infection in the United States, leveraging electronic health record data to assess the impact of care settings and transitions on TB infection care engagement, and utilizing household linkages and social networks to explore TB care delivery and transmission in low-burden settings.
