## About

Eric J. Burks, MD, is a board-certified pathologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and Associate Professor of Pathology at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine.

After receiving his medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque, Dr. Burks completed a pathology residency at the Penn State/Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, ...  as well as two fellowships: one in surgical pathology at Harvard Medical School and another in hematopathology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Burks has received the American Cancer Society Institutional Research Grant Medical Student Award and the American Society of Hematology Medical Student Award.
