Emily White, MD is a board-certified neurologist and Chief of the Division of Multiple Sclerosis at Boston Medical Center. She specializes in neuroimmunology and neuroinfectious diseases.

Dr. White received her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Bates College and her medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her neurology residency at Boston Medical Center, where ...  she served as an education chief resident. Dr. White completed a fellowship in Advanced General and Autoimmune Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital with a focus on neuroimmune, neuroinflammatory, and neuroinfectious diseases. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Global Neurology at University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka, Zambia through the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.

Dr. White cares for patients with a wide range of neurologic conditions including multiple sclerosis, myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein antibody-associated disease (MOGAD), neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), autoimmune encephalitis, neurosarcoidosis, other neuro-rheumatologic disorders, and neurologic complications of infectious diseases. She has special interests in fostering equitable access to neurologic care worldwide and in neurology education.
