Deepa Mangalat Gopal, MD, is a co-director of the hemodynamics laboratory at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an assistant professor of medicine in the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine. In addition to completing a residency and fellowship at Emory University and a fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Dr. Gopal completed a five-year fellowship at Boston University Medical Center, during which she received an award for her teaching. She is currently on the Cardiology Fellowship Selection Committee at Boston University Chobanian and Avedisian School of Medicine and is a member of four societies including the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Failure Society of America. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology.
