Andrew A. Wilson MD, is a board-certified pulmonologist at Boston Medical Center (BMC) and an expert in caring for patients with Alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency (AATD), the most common heritable cause of emphysema. Dr. Wilson is also an associate professor of Pulmonary, Allergy, Sleep & Critical Care Medicine and a primary mentor of graduate students at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian ...  School of Medicine. His research focuses on advancing the understanding of and treatment for AATD and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
