The 5th annual Mayo Bowl took place on Monday, September 8, at Kings Dedham. Started by New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo and his wife, Chantel, the Mayo Bowl has raised thousands for BMC pediatrics—a cause dear to their hearts.

Difficulty remembering new information, trouble finding words or solving everyday problems can be distressing for geriatric patients faced with the first signs of memory loss to those suffering with late stage neurocognitive impairment. At Boston Medical Center, we are with patients every step of the way, recently opening our doors to a new Memory Disorders Clinic within the Geriatric Ambulatory Practice.

Girls and young women, from ages 10 to 21, struggling with menstrual disorders can find reassurance and answers at Boston Medical Center’s Menstrual Disorders Clinic. Located in the hospital’s Adolescent Center, the innovative clinic offers the expertise of both adolescent medicine specialists and pediatric hematologists to diagnose and treat a variety of disorders.

In 2001, Boston Medical Center opened the doors to the Preventative Food Pantry after an overwhelming number of patients told their BMC physicians that they were having trouble affording nutritional food for their families.

Boston Medical Center is proud to announce that our Family Medicine Clinic has moved to an Open Access model! What does this mean for you? It means that each day, we have 70% of our appointments available that day.

Ryan Center for Sports Medicine at BMC and Boston University offers a range of comprehensive services at one convenient location. The multi-disciplinary team of physicians and professional staff provide patients with advanced diagnostics and treatment for sports injuries. The scope of services include physician services, physical therapy, nutrition, and athletic training.
