In October 2013, Boston Medical Center (BMC) launched a clinical campus redesign project to improve our buildings and services so we can continue delivering exceptional care for all of our patients for years to come.

The Positive Hope (HIV-OB Program and Education) Clinic provides care and advice to help keep HIV infected women healthy during pregnancy. 

Similar to a 2D mammogram, the 3D exam is performed the same way – the technologist will position a patient on the machine, compress the breast, and take 2D images. These images are then synthesized to create a 3D image.

Between fewer daylight hours, freezing cold temperatures, and the need for layers of insulated workout gear, it's all too easy to slip out of a regular exercise routine after New Year's Day.

Celebrating its 25th year anniversary, Reach Out and Read is a unique national literacy program that was started in 1989 by Boston City Hospital, now Boston Medical Center. The evidence-based nonprofit organization works to promote early literacy and school readiness in pediatric rooms nationwide.
