Vasan Srini Ramachandran, MD
Dr. Vasan Ramachandran is a noninvasive cardiologist with specialization in cardiovascular epidemiology, and a senior investigator at the Framingham Heart Study. He is the co-director of the echocardiography and vascular testing laboratory at the Framingham Heart Study and directs the fellowship training program at the Framingham Heart Study. He is a recipient of a mid-career clinical investigator award from the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI), USA, have received 4 R01s from the NHLBI. He has mentored approximately 3 trainees every year over the last 10 years, many who have gone on to NIH training awards.
