Judith Welch Clark RN, BSNStroke Nurse BiographyJudith Clark graduated from Saint Joseph's College in North Windham, ME in 1981 and worked at Quincy Medical Center for five years in Medicine-Surgery, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and the Emergency Department. In addition, she worked at Tufts/New England Medical Center in the Surgical ICU and Pediatric ICU, then became a Travel Nurse working in different PICU's across the country. In 1993, she worked at Boston Children's Hospital in the PICU and Radiology. In 2003, she went to Hallmark Health and worked in Quality Improvement and as a Float nurse. She came to BMC in August of 2009 as the Stroke Service Nurse. Ms. Clark has played an important role in education to patients and their families about their stroke, dysphagia screening for all stroke patients, as well as ensuring stroke "Get with the Guidelines" benchmarks. |
