Model SystemThe New England Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center Network is one of 14 Model System Centers across the United States working together to demonstrate improved care, maintain a national database, participate in independent and collaborative research and provide continuing education related to spinal cord injury. New England Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center is supported by a grant from the National Institute on Disability Rehabilitation and Research, grant # H133N060024. The Model Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) System program, sponsored by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR), Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, U.S. Department of Education, supports innovative projects and research in the delivery, demonstration, and evaluation of medical, rehabilitation, vocational and other services to meet the needs of individuals with SCI.
