Social Services

  • Our Licensed Social Worker is a key member of the primary treatment team for every patient involved in the rehab program.

  • Social services are available to provide supportive counseling for patients and families dealing with the impact of spinal cord injury.

  • Group support sessions for patients and families are facilitated by our social worker and all patients and families are encouraged to attend.

  • One-on-one support sessions and family support meetings can easily be arranged with our social worker to work through new challenges and stressors that accompany a spinal cord injury.

  • Our social worker adds input into patient discharge plans to ensure all needs are met at the time of discharge.
