Boston Medical Center (BMC) is nationally recognized for its outstanding patient care, talented physicians, medical education and innovative research. BMC has an abundance of medical and technological resources available.  The medical center is able to provide a full continuum of care from emergency medicine in our renowned Emergency Department and Level 1 Trauma Center, to comprehensive outpatient programs.  Rehabilitation services at BMC include; rehabilitation therapies services provided throughout the hospital, including the intensive care and medical/surgical units; inpatient acute rehabilitation at the Center for Rehabilitation; outpatient orthopedic and neurological therapy services in our 6,500 square foot therapy clinic; and physical medicine and rehabilitation services provided through Boston Rehabilitation Medicine Associates, Inc. our onsite physicain clinic.

Patients requiring rehabilitation benefit from our multidisciplinary approach and an extensive continuum of care.  Through our comprehensive inpatient services and outpatient clinics the Rehabilitation Medicine Department provides care for a wide range of rehabilitation diagnoses, including spinal cord injury, stroke, orthopaedic injuries, mutli-trauma, and amputee.
