Spasticity after spinal cord injury is common however, if not managed properly it can have a negative effect on independence and quality of life. Dr. Hess will discuss the clinical features and treatment modalities of spasticity in spinal cord injury. She will also identify the goals of spasticity management while discussing the pros and cons of intrathecal bacolfen treatment of spasticity in spinal cord injury.
