Services & TechnologyGynecologic Brachytherapy (HDR)HDR brachytherapy is a radioactive implant in which the therapeutic radiation dose is given during a short treatment session, usually lasting less than one hour. The treatments are given on an outpatient basis. This technique can replace slower methods involving hospital stays of several days duration. We are currently offering HDR treatment to patients with gynecologic cancers.
