HomeThe NICU Follow-Up Clinic in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at Boston Medical Center provides developmental evaluations and nutritional assessments of former premature infants or term infants with complicated newborn courses. The NICU Follow-Up Clinic is a multidisciplinary clinic staffed by a developmental and behavioral pediatrician, occupational therapists and a dietitian. In addition, we have two family outreach advocates who perform home visits and link families to community-based services and resources. | |
The NICU Follow-Up Team works collaboratively with Child Neurology and Pediatric Gastroenterology for the management of complex patients. |
The NICU Follow-Up Team also hosts NICU Family Support Lunches for parents of babies in the NICU to provide an opportunity for families to meet, ask questions in an informal setting and focus on aspects of transitioning from the NICU to home.
