In 1974, my family and I moved to Massachusetts where I trained to be a pediatrician, and I have practiced here ever since. I have three children: John, Quentin, and Katy. I was born and raised in the beautiful island of Haiti. As a child I was very active in Girl Scout activities, and actually became a leader of several groups. I went to medical school in Guadalajara, Mexico. This was a wonderful time of my life, when besides studying medicine, I traveled throughout the country, experienced first hand the richness of the Latino culture and the beauty of the Spanish language. I also speak French and Haitian Creole fluently. I enjoy traveling, singing, taking long morning walks and playing with children. I am also involved in Public Health education and work with others to develop community programs that benefit children and their families.
