Joel Herskowitz has been back at Boston Medical Center now for three years after spending nearly two decades at Tufts-New England Medical Center’s Division of Pediatric Neurology. "It's been great to be back. I love walking to the specialty clinics area by passing through general pediatrics -- seeing bright-eyed babies and feeling the incredible cultural diversity of BMC. Living at the interface between pediatrics, neurology, and psychiatry, Dr. Herskowitz has found learning and attentional problems to be his clinical niche. He is the author of Is Your Child Depressed? and co-author (with N. Paul Rosman, MD) of Pediatrics, Neurology and Psychiatry - Common Ground. A playwright, too, over the past year, Dr. Herskowitz has performed his one-person play, "TWISTED! A Medical Mystery," in Boston, St. Louis, and Heidelberg, Germany. In addition to seeing children at Boston Medical Center, Dr. Herskowitz has twice-weekly satellite sessions in Framingham.
