DonateThe Grow Clinic for Children is a unique and successful program for the treatment of Failure To Thrive (FTT) in young children. Although outreach services are part of the reason why the Clinic is so successful, these services are outside the traditional medical model and not supported by insurance or any government programs. The clinic relies exclusively on private donations to run these essential outreach services. The average new referral is much younger and more acutely ill than ever. However, because of the generosity of our donors, the waiting time for new FTT children has decreased to 1-6 weeks, down from 3-4 months when the clinic first began in 1984. In order to continue to provide services to the children in our area, the clinic must receive private support. Donations are desperately needed to fund the food pantry, transportation and community outreach services, as well as medical, nutritional and social work hours. What You Can Do to HelpYou can help make a difference in our FTT children's lives by providing them with supplies and services that are critical to their well being. Contact us today to learn how you can support the Grow Clinic by celebrating your upcoming birthday, anniversary, holiday, or just because you want to have a party! Instead of getting a gift for your special occasion, encourage your colleagues, friends and families make a donation to help children. We offer complimentary guidance, support, and the experience from a consultant who has done it before. If you are interested, please contact LaKeisha M. Gandy, the Associate Administrative Director of the Grow Clinic. Call: 617.414.7415 or Email: lakeisha.gandy@bmc.org Monetary Donation: Make a financial contribution or sponsor a family. The clinic recently established a program where donors sponsor the services provided to one child for one year. A $1,000 donation provides special medical care for a child while a $2,500 donation provides a child with medical care, food and nutritional supplements, plus supportive outreach services for his/her family for one year. You may also specify how your contribution is to be used -- to send a child to summer camp, stock the food pantry, provide medical and nutritional services or support general operating expenses.
